3, 4 or 5-axis machining of aluminium profiles

ALUDEX has a wide range of processing machines at its disposal. This means that ALUDEX can process aluminium profiles with 3, 4 or 5 axes up to a length of 15 metres.

Advantages of 5-axis profile machining centres

The enormous diversity of aluminium profiles and associated profile machining, particularly the 5-axis CNC profile machining centres, ensure maximum flexibility in production. This enables ALUDEX specialists to switch quickly between different CNC programmes, thereby ensuring minimal delivery times.

In this application, the term “5-axis” means that an aluminium profile can be machined on all 6 sides in a single clamping, without having to re-clamp it. This increases accuracy and speed and reduces the risk of errors. The latter is extremely rare anyway, as a CNC programme is created by our CAD/CAM package, which is based on your own 3D drawing (step).

Our 5-axis CNC profile machining centres are German-made: Bavius and Elumatec.

A complex 5-axis machining centre is often not necessary for simpler operations. These include, for example, sawing, drilling, punching and bending.
